Cellophane is an instrument, and instruments get better when the people playing them say what's wrong. So any and all questions, bug reports, and feedback are genuinely appreciated: tell me what you love, what's driving you up the wall, or the feature you wish existed.
A few things worth knowing first.
Bring your own sounds. Import individual samples as-is or choose optional tempo and beat detection. Stem separation does not run on your iPhone. Optional paired-Mac processing is available when supported by the Mac's installed model and permissions. Audio transfers to the Mac you pair and Cellophane may retain a local retry copy. The included original demo uses aligned multitrack exports supplied by its artist. Play, slice, layer, and save your sounds locally on your iPhone. Your crate is on your device. Everything you import and build lives in the app's own folder, visible in the Files app under Cellophane. Cellophane does not provide a raindog cloud backup. Device backups and any copies you export are controlled by your Apple and file-provider settings.
Keep your performance
Use Tape to capture the music playing inside Cellophane. Save Cels and Mixes to keep your editable ideas. External-device recording and MIDI integration are not included.
