A manual you can just ask.

A gear manual is written to be complete, not to be asked — a reference you page through, when what you usually have is a single question mid-session. Margin is a small experiment in closing that gap: a model that has read the manual, so you can ask in plain language and get back an answer you can trust, act on, and check. It covers the Polyend Play+ and TE EP-133.

the system

One question in, three things back.

Margin is retrieval-augmented: a retriever pulls the passages that matter, a fine-tuned Qwen3-4B* writes only from them, and the response comes back in three parts you can use.

The retriever keeps the answer tied to the real manual; the grounding is the receipt; the overlay puts the step where your hands are. Inference only — nothing made up, nothing left unsourced.
